We have 2 of these fans on our back patio and they are awesome! You can feel the air even 10-12 feet underneath the fan. Would highly recommend this product. Also the smoked iron is really close to the oil rubbed bronze look so if you are looking for it to coordinate with other fixtures, they're pretty similar in color.Remotes are also pretty nice and really responsive. You just need to be sure to point it at the fixture directly. It's not like a TV remote where the signal bounces off other surfaces.We used this fan for our covered patio and it looks great but doesn't have a high enough speed to put out a great volume of air. I like having the remote for the light and fan but wished it had a higher speed setting. You have to have on level three to really notice a difference at all.I bought two of these. The fan motor failed on one of them in less than one year.I am working on a warranty replacement. If all goes well, I will edit this to add stars back in.I have 6 Minka fans. They all are very quiet and provide great air movementLOVE this fan. Installed two on our guesthouse porch in Texas Hill Country and they do the trick. Will put them in the main house also. Lights are fairly dim, FYI.
