Coolerguys Fan Mount/Stand Bracket Kit (Black Metal) A simple way to place a cooling fan anywhere! Mount to the top, side, or bottom of your cabinet, desk, or anywhere else that needs a fan. Great way to place a cooling fan directly in front or behind a device, set the fan where you want and mount it using the included wood screws, or don't and just use the bracket as a stand. Easy tool-less install, simply attach the L-shaped brackets using the included nuts and 35mm bolts. We have given you 6 different screw holes on the L brackets so you have a few options on how high (or low) you want a fan to stand or hang along the 65mm leg and 2 different screw holes on the 21mm leg. Works with most standard fans (round or frameless fans won't work) that have standard screw holes. Works with any fan up to 30mm deep. Includes connecting plate so you can join two fans which allow you to be mount or stand them together as one assembly. Metal is soft enough that you can bend if needed. Note: Does not include fan Product Kit Inclusion: (2) "L" Brackets: (65mm x 21mm x 12mm / 2.5" x 0.83" x 0.475") (1) Connecting Plate: 30mm x 12mm / 1.2" x 0.475") (4) Nut and Bolt Sets: (35mm / 1.4") 7.5mm phillips head (2) Threaded wood screws: (13mm / 0.5") 7.5mm phillips head Thickness: 1mm metal with powder coated Black
I recently bought a 4U server case that lacked any place to mount fans in the front of the chassis. With only two fans in the rear, I knew the airflow wouldn't be good enough for my needs. Sadly, it seems like there are very few options to add mount points for more case fans. This fit the bill perfectly for me.Pros:- Very easy installation.- Accommodates any size fan. I'm using 80mm, but you could just as easily use 92mm, 120mm, or any size you want.- Uses standard case fan screws.- Bridge to connect two fans to the same set of brackets.- Dirt cheap,Cons:- Only one bridge piece is induced. If you tighten the screws well enough, it mostly stays put. Including a second one would be a nice change.Note: I used some extra neodymium magnets to mount the brackets to my case. If you don't have any existing holes in your case and have no desire to drill some, this is probably the best option.
