How to Replace a Car Radiator Step 1: Raise and support the vehicle and drain the coolant from the radiatorStep 2: Disconnect the radiator reservoir hose, and remove the upper radiator hoseStep 3: Remove the lower radiator hose, and disconnect the cooling fan electrical connectorStep 4: Remove the cooling fan mounting bolts, and remove the cooling fanStep 5: Disconnect the transmission cooler lines, and remove the radiator mounting bolts.Step 6: Remove the condenser mounting bolts, and remove the radiatorStep 7: Mount the radiator. Install the condenser mounting bolts.Step 8: Install the radiator mounting bolts. Connect the transmission cooler lines.Step 9: Mount the fan. Install the cooling fan mounting boltsStep 10: Reinstall the connector. Install the lower radiator hose.Step 11: Install the upper radiator hose.
